IWD 2024: Women Leading The Charge Against Climate Change

At Reactive Technologies, we are committed to driving the global energy transition and reducing carbon emissions in the energy sector. Working closely with grid operators worldwide, we witness incredible projects combating the impacts of climate change. On this International Women’s Day, we want to shine a light on initiatives led by women who are making significant strides in combating the impacts of climate change. Women bear the brunt of climate change impacts, with statistics revealing that they are more vulnerable to the effects of extreme weather events and environmental degradation. Yet, only about 2% of climate finance is directed towards initiatives with gender equality objectives.

To mark this International Women’s Day, we’ve curated a list of impactful projects, each led by inspiring women, providing you with an opportunity to contribute to these causes.
